Prishtina, 19.09.2019. AME organized a one-day workshop with the Directors and Responsibilities for Protection and Rescue of Kosovo Municipalities, where it was discussed the collection and registration of data on disaster losses and the completion of the DesInvnetar Sendai database, a task that is included in the program IPA DRAM.
This database helps to identify and analyze events over the years so that their impacts are better understood for taking preventive measures to reduce their impact in the future.
Also, cross-sectoral issues were discussed, including the gender aspect and their involvement in decision-making and management of emergency situations.
This workshop, in addition to the majority of representatives from the municipalities, was also supported by an expert from the CIMA FONDATION Organization and an expert from the private sector.
The workshop according to the evaluation of the participants achieved the complete predetermined objectives.
